RANGERS Football Club can today confirm that Sam Kerr will leave the club to join Bayern Munich this summer.
The midfielder has been a key part of the Light Blues squad since signing in 2021 and leaves Rangers having won the SWPL title in 2021/22 and the Sky Sports Cup this campaign.
Kerr was also the first professional women’s player to score at Ibrox Stadium in a competitive league fixture as she netted the opening goal against Aberdeen in a 4-0 victory in April 2022.
The Scotland international made 39 appearances for Rangers in the 2022/23 season, scoring eight goals.
Speaking following her move, Kerr said: “I would like to say thank you to all the fans, players, and staff for an incredible three years at Rangers.
Everyone at Rangers would like to thank Sam for her time at the club and we wish her well in Germany.
