RANGERS Soccer Academy are delighted to provide free open days across five venues in Scotland later this month.
Whether it is developing football skills, meeting new friends or getting out and exercising, our group of experienced coaches will take your child’s game to the next level.
The free open days will take place across venues in Edinburgh, Kilwinning, Fife, Milngavie and Hamilton, with a variety of classes available for children of different skill level and age group.
Baby Bear classes are designed for pre-school children aged between 18 months to 3-years-old taking their very first steps in football, incorporating the development of fundamental movement and motor skills with fun, friendly and creative themed adventures.
Broxi Bear classes are perfect for boys and girls who want to have fun while playing football, with parents invited to join part of the session and have a homework game to take away and work with the child in their spare time.
Train and Play classes are aimed at players aged between five and seven-years-old who are now getting the buzz for football matches, with the added benefit of developing technical skills and problem solving in game-like scenarios.
Future Bears classes are open to both girls and boys aged between five and 15-years-old of any level, with an emphasis on developing technical skills in a fun and engaging manner and a small sided conditioned game for the players to put into practice what they have learned at the end of the session.
Goalkeeping classes are designed to develop all areas of a goalkeeper’s game, working on their shape, footwork, handling, distribution, shot stopping, game awareness, 1v1 situations and problem solving, with sessions based on the age and developmental stage of each goalkeeper.
Advance and Elite classes are invite only, with sessions based on the Academy curriculum focusing on ball, body, mind and game. Indeed, there have been over 70 players who have progressed from the Advance and Elite classes to the club’s Academy, including recent first team debutants Leon King and Robbie Ure.
